Easy Way to Get Amazing Effects in Flash 8

March 24th, 2006 in News, Templates

Our flash templates and flash intro templates are famous for their effects. This is what makes them so cool. It is not a secret though that many of these effects are not easy to produce with standard tools of Flash (versions 6 & 7).

Flash 8 is different. Its standard tools allow adding many of the great effects by just pressing the right button. The effects include:

• Drop shadow
• Blur
• Glow
• Bevel
• etc…

Besides, there are many other new options that make it easier to produce great stuff in Flash 8. It results not only in better user experience but also in the size of the final product and the ways it can be edited.

That is why we decided to start a new category Flash 8 templates. We will place there all the templates developed in Flash 8 (websites templates & flash intro templates).
As you may guess, the templates in this category are developed in Flash 8 that makes it simpler to edit them. All the effects listed above and many others can be found with our Flash 8 templates.

Note that you will need Flash 8.0 to edit any of our Flash 8 templates.

You can read more about Flash 8 in a special review prepared by Web Design Library team.

We have added a new preview option to our site. Now you do not need to click on a thumbnail to view the template enlarged. What you need to do is just to point your mouse to a thumbnail and a medium size preview of the template will appear. Of course, medium size preview won’t give you all the details but this is an option for fast previewing.

Stretched Web Templates

March 1st, 2006 in News, Templates

As many of you might notice, we released stretched templates on Monday.

What is a stretched website template or stretched website? Well… There’s no strict definition of stretched websites (the term is rather new). The distinctive feature of our stretched website templates is that they fill the browser window as it expands or contracts. There’s a synonym for stretched website (template) which is liquid website (template). No matter what the name is the essence is the same.

According to w3schools statistics, only half of Internet users use 1024×768 display resolution. Want your site to be available to every user regardless of his screen resolution? Stretched website (based on one of our templates) is a solution.

Browse our collection of stretched website templates (there are only six of them for the moment but we add new templates regularly).
