Remember this day, my fellow friends, as this is the historical date when the best tutorial resource on the Net celebrates its new achievement.
Now read and don’t restrain your astonishment: Web Design Library has created and gathered tutorials on Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Swish, 3D Studio Max, HTML, CSS, PHP, among others. These tutorials provide technical guidance for all levels of designers, novice to professional. In the Photoshop section you can find 13 (!) categories, including “Special Effects”, “Textures and Patterns”, “Drawing Techniques”, “Photo Editing”, “ImageReady Animation” and many others.
But those altruist geeks don’t even think of stopping and have launched fourteen RSS channels (for some reason it seems to me that fourteen is not the final figure, let’s dwell upon “fourteen and counting” wording). This innovation simplifies the process of receiving the daily updates and web design news for tutorials, articles, templates, and website showcase. The RSS subscribers may also display these useful materials on their websites.
Web Design Library remains committed to maintaining accessibility and quality of web design materials and keep working in order to become the best designer’s one-stop resource on the web.
Template Monster completes a milestone agreement with Getty Images! This is a very important agreement for Template Monster customers. This agreement with Getty Images makes the array of quality images that is available for our designs much greater.
Premium images are necessary to create the best designs. The quality and availability of those images is of the utmost importance in maintaining top level and competitive designs. The creators, buyers and sellers of these images have legal rights - so that getting and using the best pictures can be prohibitively expensive. Getting the best photo images while maintaining the most competitive price structure is the name of the game in design production and sales.
Most of our dedicated customers know that Template Monster gained a huge solution by aligning ourselves in partnership with Fotolia.com not long ago. This partnership gives to our customers the complete lifetime rights to use the images as long as they are in a design purchased from Template Monster.
Today Template Monster is one of the few companies that use only licensed images, and we invest a lot of money into the solid partnerships that provide those images. If your template was found to contain a “stolen” picture you would be the first person to be addressed by the real owners of that image. We will not tolerate this risk for our clients.
We have just signed a similar agreement with Getty Images - the world leader in providing imagery collections. With partnerships like this Template Monster always makes big news! You will have rights to use the Getty pictures as long as you use the designs provided by us. Enjoy! No thanks necessary, we are happy to share the fortune.
Yes, it is true! We are not going to stop working to provide the best, new products on the web for our valued customers.
This time the new product is the “XML Flash Site Template” – a new category with the distinguishing feature that their content is loaded from the XML files and not in the TXT format (as in the old dynamic Flash sites).
These new XML Flash Site Templates have several additional features that you should know about. For example this new technology gives you the opportunity to add as many read-more-links as you wish. Another feature is that you can now switch the menu items and they will automatically be followed by the proper page switches. You can also make the text available for copying by simply changing one setting in the XML file.
You can find more information about this new product at the XML Flash Site Templates presentation page.
They say that there can never be too much of something good. Indeed, after having launched the “Changing the Web” global social responsibility campaign we decided that launching another similar project would also be a good idea. That’s when we came across the KillerStartUps.com project. When we saw what KillerStartUps was doing we decided to launch another campaign proudly entitled “Enhancing the Future Web.”
The idea was to cooperate with the KillerStartUps project in the following ways: they choose a “Killer of the Week” winner; Template Monster in turn offers one of the four winners of each month a free redesign opportunity. We then proceed just as we have in “Changing the Web” – providing premium design for the rookies. We can’t wait to see the happy faces of these promising newcomers when they see what we’ll do for their designs.
