Yes, it is true! We are not going to stop working to provide the best, new products on the web for our valued customers.
This time the new product is the “XML Flash Site Template” – a new category with the distinguishing feature that their content is loaded from the XML files and not in the TXT format (as in the old dynamic Flash sites).
These new XML Flash Site Templates have several additional features that you should know about. For example this new technology gives you the opportunity to add as many read-more-links as you wish. Another feature is that you can now switch the menu items and they will automatically be followed by the proper page switches. You can also make the text available for copying by simply changing one setting in the XML file.
You can find more information about this new product at the XML Flash Site Templates presentation page.

Its great to hear this that TM is not offering “XML Flash Site Template”. Excellent, I am going to choose any of the template so I can consider to buy that for me.

Will you also publish documentation? The problem that I have had with your dynamic flash sites is that there is not documentation. It is like a walk in the dark trying to modify the template.

Making it easier for all clients to use this method from the get-go (rather than the manual hybrid way some of have been implementing for quite some time, by “inserting” each element individually onto a static HTML foundation) is an awesome jump forward in complete customer satisfaction!
It also helps to address the only feasible way to truly optimize Flash sites, which has been a major frustration for us all. Too bad the rest of the SE’s haven’t evolved fast enough to move toward “fixing” the way they read Flash….again, it’s up to the fast-thinking few to provide solutions to the rest. WTG, TM!

The greatest gain for web site owners is they wont have to hire someone each time they have to make a change on their website. XML Flash site templates will let you circumvent the need to modify FLA source files whenever you need to change some text or move some pictures around. And it’s not just for beginners either, just think of the time we’ll save, I cant tell you the number of times I’ve been coding away the hours seemingly making huge progress, when out of nowhere I’ve got one of these “Flash has encountered a problem and needs to close” Dam

Hi - I have been a customer of Template Monster for a while and recently I had a problem with my contact form in Flash. For 3 days I have been contacting Customer Support at TM and I have been treated so unprofessionally I couldnt believe it; one of the reps in the chat support named Lars decided that my situation was funny enough to start making jokes and not helping me at all. Considering that we do business this way it is a very disappointing situation and I wanted everyone to know, if you have a problem, TM Customer Support is not the place to go. Good Luck!

This Flash 8 package I bought looks fantastic, but how about some basic documentation? You hype the new features but provide no information on how to use them. I spent hours trying to get help on this last evening, but no agents were available via chat. I really want this to work and believe it would not take much for you to provide some basic “how to” specs.

Ric,
What you have told us here is totally unacceptable. That is why we need your help in investigating this issue in order to prevent things like this in future and to improve our support. So please provide us with your order ID so that we could help you. And if you have the chat with Lars logs saved somewhere they would also be very helpful for us. Mail all these info to me personally (alex.flow{at}templatemonster.com)

David,
What we need from you is basically the same as from the previous customer - your order ID and probably the approximate time you were trying to get the live support at our chat. Also mail those details to me directly - alex.flow{at}templatemonster.com
The XML documentation is right now being prepared by our technicians and I assume it will be available in some time. Till that time (and even after it’s published) you will get all the support needed from our support managers.
If there will be any further problems with our support dept feel free to let us know (again, either me personally or mail to marketing{at}templatemonster.com).
