January 9th, 2008 in News

TemplateMonster launches a revolutionary, new production technology while offering their new category of Premium Design Templates (see the brilliant presentation of these here).

The Template Monster design team is always striving to prove it’s “The-Best-on-the-Net” status. The TemplateMonster creative teams constantly work to improve designs, making them ever better.

In order to accomplish this TemplateMonster has designated a Special Creative Group of the best experts and designers. Having analyzed the latest Web Design trends, this Special Creative Group has produced the latest and most exclusive additions to TemplateMonster’s database - premium, especially enhanced template designs.

The project has also involved illustrators, artists and 3D experts. Each of the new design elements has been carefully examined and tested thoroughly. Today you will see these products that are planned to determine the future of Web Design – the Premium Templates from Template Monster!

Nice templates, but that will say premium templates = flash templates?

how about premium templates = valid coded CSS templates (table-less, semantic layout etc.)

btw. I sold already “premium wordpress themes” (try a google search for this phrase) in the past :D

Ok, I think I’m officially confused. These premium templates are just as good as the full flash (FF) templates (and about half the price). In fact I’d venture to say these premium templates are on par or below the FF templates. Except Hugo’s. That man’s got talent. Anyway, can someone from TM respond as I’ve re-read the description above and can’t find anything different in quality, animation, bells, whistles, or design when compared to the FF ones. Does that mean the FF templates that cost half as much are being phased out in lieu of these ‘premium’ templates? Thanks for any info.

hi–who did the video demo? Would love to consider them for a video for my site!

    Tom,
Premium templates greatly differ from Full Flash, there are tons of differences actually. The major ones are:
    1. The revolutionary approach. Full Flash ones are more like produced with an “assembly method”, less control on the production level. Premium templates are controlled by the managers and supervisors from the stage of concept creation and to the final double- (or even triple-) checking. Besides, Full Flashes are produced maximum by three specialists while producing Premium ones involves a whole team of at least 5.
    2. The design elements in Full Flashes are not always custom, the photos are sometimes taken from the stock photo providers (as well as other elements like icons and illustrations). All of the elements for Premium templates are totally custom and their production subprocesses are also controlled at a highest level.
In other words, Premium templates production is very close to having your own personal team of professionals working on your personal project. It’s like buying a usual serial car and buying a manually assembled Bentley or Rolls Royce :)

    MGB,
The video presentation was made by us in cooperation with InverseLogic (you may reach them at http://www.inverse-logic.com). We did the creative part (the concept of the video, copywriting, the scenario) and our friends from InverseLogic did all of the production. And yes, MGB, you definitely would want to consider them for making a video for your website, we’ve enjoyed working with them very much.

Guys, original version of the video presentation was definitely much more admiring. I do not understand why your CEO choosed this boring one. Girl with battery in original was just amazing. It looked much more professional and interesting, because on it robot REALLY lived among human beings. I am sad that you guys dig a great idea…
