Familiar with Template Monster First Customer Survey?
August 4th, 2008 in NewsNot long ago it appeared to be that the First Customer Survey at TemplateMonster was ongoing in spite of the fact that we have stopped it. That is why some of you may have received the invitation emails with the survey links that were inactive. We apologize for these facts and the inconveniences they might have caused. As always, we are working on it and the problem will soon be fixed.
We found out about these facts from several emails that our customers have sent to us. By the way, one of the emails about that has attracted our special interest. In case you’re interested - here’s the quote:
“At the same time I purchased a TemplateMonster.com, I also purchased two templates from your competition - ************.net* [ sorry, my client chose the templates ]. The purchase occurred around 4:25pm EST on Friday, 20 June. I received a payment confirmation at 4:30pm - as of this writing [5:15pm EST, Sunday, 22 June] I STILL have not received the files!!!!!!!!!!! - after two full days and 7 emails of pleading, I’ve not received a single response yet!!! My deadline for three concepts was Monday morning – I will now have to make an excuse to my longtime, trusted client… how embarrassing, huh? – I am livid beyond comprehension. Talk about stress entering Monday morning with no files and no response from ************.net* !!!!!!
It is a horrendous experience like this that underscores the wonderful ease of purchase, secure delivery of files and customer service follow-up and most importantly, PROFESSIONALISM that you and your site demonstrate. Even though the internet is stunningly littered with countless web templates sites, they obviously are not created equal.
Keep doing what you are doing, baby, and keep up the good work, designs and customer service – rest assured, in doing so you’re world’s ahead of your competition.”
Well, unfortunately things like this happen - no business is perfect. And unfortunately this kind of customer service of our competitors is not something that we may fix - otherwise we definitely would have fixed it.
By the way, it may sound strange but this little survey link bug has appeared right before the launch of a new First Customer Survey at Template Monster. Funny coincidence, isn’t it? Soon we will start a new customer survey, also meant for the customers that have made their first purchase at TemplateMonster. All of the survey links that will be delivered then will be active, that’s for sure
