- Ribbons
- Rich user interfaces
- Multi-column layouts
Here we go, the designs step in:
* * *
Embossing letters have not been used in web design too much and now they are becoming a popular trend represented in the Design Studio Template. This style allows to stress main points of the interest like logo of the company.
* * *
Large and extra large letters are becoming a popular trend in our days. Besides their stylish look they are very good for conveying certain ideas and images. In the Web design Island Template large letters stress reliability of the company and creative approach of its employees.
* * *
Extraordinary fonts are good for creating a unique and sticking to the memory image. In the Kipl Template unusual font complements the original design in a way to make it look complete.
* * *
Internet connections are becoming wider and wider with every day. Utilizing this trend can be very efficient and useful. In the BusiNews Template we can see how video file serves as additional information source for the Joomla-based web-site.
* * *
Any template needs to be designed in a single style. In the Singer Web Site Template we can see how a magazine layout is used to create a complete image for the web site.
* * *
Carousel slideshows allow adding interactivity into the Flash site. They look very elegant and at the same time they save place on the page for other information. This is demonstrated in the Creative Web Lab Template.
* * *
The time of fresh and unexpected solutions has come along with this trend. In the Design Experts Template we can see how a simple Flash page can turn into the gates to the alternate reality of the Internet.
* * *
Flash technologies allow us to bring a new sense to the familiar shapes of the Internet. In the Interior Showcase Template the whole site is seemingly located on the single page. An example of how a fresh trend can be supplemented by the perfect execution.
* * *
Huge illustrations and vibrant graphics
Sometimes the bigger is the better. In this case this trend works perfectly well. Large images help to draw attention towards the main point or express idea perfectly clear like in the Design Bureau Template.
* * *
The times when white was the primary background color for any website on the Internet are long gone. Now White can be seen rarely and always speaks of the specific intention to create a unique image. The Creative Web Lab Template is a superb example of this trend.
* * *
Dynamic tabs are good for many things: they save space, add interactivity and can be a great tool to supplement other interactive or animated elements of the site. In the Radieux Template they were used for minimizing space requirements and attracting attention to the main parts of the page.
* * *
Sometimes search option is nearly the most important for the web-site. Visitors can get very agitated and unhappy if they are unable to find a search box for a long time. That is why in certain templates search panel is large and easy to spot. In the Real Estate Agency Template you can see a large search box in the upper left part of the page. It is easy to spot and will be a helpful asset in navigating a web site.
* * *
When the image speaks for itself there is no need for many words. Designs similar to the Business Co Template are great for using innovative and intuitive approach. Another reason to use visual clues is to allow easier navigation on the website.
* * *
Handwriting font is used to generate a very special style for personal content. In the My Page Template the new trend is visible very clear and helps to render a personalized style for the Flash site.
* * *
Retro style is the best solutions in certain cases. The Retro Design Studio Template uses this type of design in order to create an image of good old-fashioned business approach. The main feature of every old thing which we still use today is the reliability and trustworthiness.
* * *
Organic textures, tiles and photographic backgrounds
This kind of approach is perfect fpr illustrating the fact that this or that company uses only natural products and creates only the best and purest of the wine. The College Wine Template is in turn a perfect illustration of this kind of approach.
* * *
Price tags bearing any kind of information are often used today in web design. However, they still have not pestered us. Their main aim is to draw attention to the specific and important information such as a discount or an announcement. In the Clothes Store Template price tag announces that there is a sale thus attracting visitors’ attention to the goods in the store.
* * *
Ribbons are a popular trend today. They are effective in establishing connections between elements of the page and for drawing attention to these elements. In the Constructivism Design Template ribbons are used to underline navigation bars of the website and to make it look original and creative.
* * *
Some web sites allow users to conduct some additional actions. This Travel Agency Template is using rich user interface. This tendency of enriching your interface with extra options is becoming rather common recently.
* * *
A design with three or more columns does not have to be a complex one. On the contrary, when designed in the right way, multi-column designs can be really helpful to visitors like in this Full Color Print Solutions Template.
