Because of the excessive frenzy concerned with discounts at TemplateMonster we decided to clarify the situation and describe all possible ways to get Template Monster promo code and the respective “terms and conditions”.
1. First option is that our newsletter subscribers can receive a one-time 7% discount on any product subscribing for TemplateMonster newsletter. In order to get this discount you have to actually subscribe and click the confirmation link (or copy and paste it into your browser’s address bar). Having received the promocode, enter it at the checkout page. This discount is valid for only twenty-four hours.
2. Additionally, you will be given a 5% discount daily for newly added products. You will find the discount links in each newsletter email. Such cut rate is valid on the day the new templates are added. You may subsribe to our newsletter on the TemplateMonster homepage (bottom center)
3. Third option is a discount for completing the First Customer Survey. The point is that the customers who purchase something at TemplateMonster for the first time ever complete the first customer survey which instantly gives them a one-time 20% discount. However, not every purchase gives you the chance to complete the First Customer Survey – you only have to buy a web template, CMS or Blog template or eCommerce template. The promocode is active during 1 month.
4. Occasionally, we hold some special promos that are not discount-code-based (for instance, the category discount when all of the templates filed under certain category are discounted during certain period – e.g. Hotels category discount). We always announce about such campaigns in our reports, on our blog, and on Twitter. Therefore in order not to miss them we strongly suggest you to subscribe for our newsletter (new templates report), blog RSS, and Twitter updates.
5. Currently, we keep on publishing new 50% discount codes on our Twitter account – one day, one promocode, each of them will be active for 1 order (so the first person to use it will be the only one who takes advantage of that particular discount code). This is a real boom of discounts! So, go to our official Twitter account page right now and become our follower – in this case you’ll have the best of the bargain!
We don’t know about you but our team really enjoyed having a Twitter day promo and giving away 24 promocodes. Remember the yesterday’s awesome redesign of the hotel’s website? We’ve redesigned an old and outdated website of Goldener Baer hotel. So now we’ve made some slight modifications to that design and here it is – available as a .PSD template. Take a look:

Remember we’ve published a review of world’s top hotels’ websites that actually were not as good as these hotels? Ok, we have some news here. And it really seems like this whole DNS thing is almost fixed now – at least we really hope so. Plus we do have a comment from our CEO Mr. David Braun. Here’s what he said about the current situation:
“Of course we have a team of system administrators and network engineers. The problem does not appear to be on our end. It seems to be a DNS issue and our current provider – which is EasyDNS.com – does not accept that fact. We’ve switched to another provider just several minutes ago. It will take a couple of hours for it to be propagated for most users. If this will resolve the problem – then it will be obvious that it was the EasyDNS’ issue. Please continue to inform us about the status, especially people who already had problems.”
Well, you’ve heard the man – we’re taking actions and hopefully everything is going to be over in a couple of hours. However please keep informing us if you still have this problem. Thanks.
UPDATE (AUG 26 2009): After having investigated the issue deeply we found that the problem described above was in no way caused by EasyDNS.com’s services (it was caused by one of our hosting providers instead). In fact, we would like to thank EasyDNS.com staff and management for their prompt and professional assistance on this issue. We kindly ask them to accept our apologies.
