Playing with the Beta now… It’s amazing! Very impressive!
There are 30 days in September. Do you have the exact day when it’s available?

  • Gerard says:

This is fab! I have been testing the beta version and it works realy great! Everything can be edited. I’m only wondering: Can it also be used in existing flash website, and if so is it easy to integrate? And finaly: How much does it cost…

  • Awesome! This is a long awaited feature! I’m sure my customers will be very very happy with this!

  • Daniel says:

Well? Is it live yet? Come on them :-D . Looks awesome

  • Native B says:

Is Flashmoto not just another web-based page builder? what’s all the noise about?

  • Alex says:

Native B, no it’s not just another page builder. It’s a Flash CMS – a CMS for editing and working with Flash websites. There’s not very many of Flash CMS platforms out there, especially as good as this one.

  • Alex says:

Daniel, not yet :-) But we’re all working hard on this whole thing. Soon you’ll see them.

  • Pedro says:

flash is goning to be reserved to banners and video in future web developer….. sorry, very poor ux and indexability.

  • Native B says:

Alex – Flashmoto looks like a very good application and I am sure it was fun for the developers. I just don’t see as a hit (I have been known to be wrong). If I am building a flash website, I will buy the Flash application. If I am building a flash website that I want non-techies to be able to update, I will build a flash website that reads external assets (text, images, video, etc) and give the non-tech access to a web-base file editor to manage content with-in the application.

Personally, I see Flashmoto as a page builder not a CMS. By simple definition, a CMS allows you to manage content easily within a set template (content may be stored in a database or on the file system. If and when an application allows the user to manage the template to create different looking pages, then this is a page builder.

All said – the application looks great – well done to the development team.

PS: be careful when you say “No Skills Required” because it is required, if and when I need to get out of the box that is Flashmoto. For example, If I wanted to add shopping cart with stock management and a nice looking back-office for the office boys/girls (… i know – out of scope)

By the way, why is the Flashmoto website not built with Flashmoto? It would have been a great ad “Built and managed by Flashmoto”;)
