The reason why we chose it is the near release date of HTML5 that is bound to break … Already predicted by many industry experts as a hot trend for 2010.

Great Post….I like your post..Designing a website is essential to the success of the company. Viewers who come across the site spend on average 10 seconds on the front page and if it loses their interest they will move on.

I love the idea to trying to discover what the next trend will be in website design for 2010, but I’m not convinced that this particular round up showcases anything really “new” which may end up being the trend for 2010, just a continuation of the evolution already started.

      Thanks and Regards

Trends are not always technical. An obvious trend in web design has been toward imagery. regardless of how it’s embedded it needs to look clean, crisp and consistent thruout the site. Links used to be text only, now they are icons and symbols (especially on home pages & splash pages). As we move into the future links will become ever more visual, colorful and perhaps more consistent from one website to another.
Most human beings are visual creatures. Websites are for human beings. Makes sense to me

I really prefer Intuitive Flash Design, the animation and the moves that give you the felling that you are in a beautiful and will designed website. It really needs a professional designer to design a flash website with a friendly use interface that allows the users to browse around the website with an interesting motion while clicking on the buttons to move to another page.

I hope that Intuitive Flash Design wines.
      All the best Template Monster.

    • http://www.snerdey.com Snerdey

Full screens, more FlashCMS that are not limited. They need to have all options and not some with or without galleries. No more small tiny areas of content. Headers are sometimes the whole top fold wasting too much space just for logo, menus.

    • http://theogdengroup.net Tom Ogden

Retro is just plain eye-catching, but most folks shy away from it. textures are old hat. I’d have to vote for social pages.

    • Warren Pettitt

I would have to vote for the flash that easily allows video to be placed in it. Flash is certainly eyecatching and with the addition of video I think more people would stay on the site.
