It looks like everybody lost their minds and gone wild about this amazing sport event that will take place this weekend. Beware football fans because big day is coming! But, fans probably know it’s coming by now. Anyways, without a doubt Super Bowl is a really great show and we at TemplateMonster are also big fans of it. So there’s no chance we could have stayed aside from it because, there are just many football fans surrounding our blog and TemplateMonster in general. So we’ve decided to provide you guys with a small research about football and web design.

Our aim was to find the originally designed football websites that are certainly worth seeing. As a result we have got a collection of tremendous football websites. This roundup includes websites of football teams, major tournaments and associations. By the way there are some trends that are typical for football websites and first one is that many websites have photo of their home arena in the background. We’re not sure why – well, of course it does look good but we don’t know why so many websites use this same tool – perhaps because someone was the first to integrate it and – since the football teams management is a pretty much a closed club – the rest of the teams did the same. The second trend is that they all use slide shows on the homepages. Ok, enough of alanytics. Enter the designs!
