On May 24 TemplateMonster turns 10! That’s why we are preparing lots of awesome surprises for you! Let’s start from a simple contest and check how creative you are. You need to make a photo “Monster and Me”, the owners of two best works will receive 100% promocodes for any TemplateMonster’s product (regular price). This is your chance to get your best images published on the TemplateMonster’s Facebook Timeline!

There are a handful of things to prepare your photo submission. Keep reading below to see what we are looking for and all the details on how to submit your works. Yeah, we are beaming with excitement to see how creative you are!

The contest starts on May 8, the DEADLINE is May 15th! Only SIX DAYS for you to submit YOUR photos!

Submission Guidelines:

The following guidelines must be followed when submitting your “Monster and Me” photo. You may add no more than 3 pictures directly to TemplateMonster’s Facebook page. We want all our readers to take part in this photo contest; this concerns not only professional photographers but also amateurs. Take your iPhone, Android device or any other gadget you enjoy taking pictures with and let your creativity flow!

Each photo must follow the format “Monster and Me”, meaning that you can make a self-portrait with any TemplateMonster attribute you have. In case you have none, you can create Photoshop collage adding our friendly Monster’s face or any other cute monster to your picture or create any other variations you find appropriate. We are not limiting you in your actions, do whatever you like. Also you need to include a short comment to your photo. Try not to stress about this part, we’re more looking for the image than an introduction. For example: ‘Who is on the photo?’, ‘Was there anything moving, unusual, funny or interesting that happened when you took the photo?’

This should be a great photo to inspire readers, a photo that will take the breath away that will make everyone laugh, will get everyone excited to pull out our camera and try to make the same shot. Important: this should be a G-rated photo, to avoid violation of Facebook’s privacy policy rules.

Submit your photos as 2Mb .jpg files. Final photos will need to be 300 dpi up to 3Mpx, and the most important, you do not have permissions to submit photos taken from the Internet or shot by somebody else; those should be YOUR shots. DEADLINE FOR ALL PHOTO SUBMISSIONS: MAY 15th 2012!

Results:

After the 15th of May we will choose ten best shots and according to these results we will conduct a poll on our Facebook page and the readers will pick two best works. The authors of these shots will receive 100% promocodes.

Highly important: you may post only YOUR photos, plagiarism is not appreciated.

Rules:

• PRIZE: 100% promocodes allowing to get any TemplateMonster’s product (regular price);
• NUMBER OF WINNERS: two;
• TO ENTER: submit up to three photos in the “Monster and Me” format to TemplateMonster’s Facebook Timeline;
• TYPE OF PHOTO: you need to keep to the Facebook privacy policy, only G-rated photos are allowed;
• PRIZE SHIPS: promocode delivered to your e-mail address;
• CONTEST CLOSES: Monday, May 15th at 10am EST;
• USUAL STUFF: submit photos 300 dpi up to 3MP (2 Mb maximum). The winners will be selected by our Facebook fans from 10 best works rated by us and announced on May 24th;
• FEES: there are absolutely no fees or subsidy payments required to enter the contest.
