How do you use these templates to make a live site

You just add the content you need, functional elements and after uploading to web hosting they become live sites.

These designs are high quality and frequently use the jQuery framework. To modify that you really need to be good with jQuery, and it helps to know JavaScript. However, if you can live with the basic functionality of the template then all you have to do is modify content such as images, text, and a logo perhaps and add/remove pages as needed. The more technical knowledge you have the more you can do. I have modified some of these free designs myself and made some extensive changes but it does takes lots of time and some of the jQuery code is so compacted that it is not human readable hence it’s almost impossible to modify. I might be able to assist you for a fee depending on what you’re looking to do and I offer design, video, and hosting, too; if you’re interested contact me cinemapete@gmail.com.

It’s just a freakin template, dammit! How do you normally use templates? Not website template, but any kinds of templates. You replace stuff in them with yours, right? I don’t see what can possibly be not clear in this.Oh and btw, I believe all of these website templates have readme files with the instructions.

@ lakewoodwed, you need to edited than and lunch to the live serve. you must have bit Knowledge of what you are doing, cos there are hidden Tags of they site. you click picture and it take to they site.

hi, @jane, unfortunately there’s no such thing as ‘short instructions’ to develop these templates. The designers have done a great job to get them as simple as they are.
So your options are to get yourself onto a course online to teach yourself or quicker and easier (but might cost you a few £$€) to contact a developer and pay them to develop something you’ve seen and like.
