Hot Drupal Events That Won’t Let You Freeze in Winter 2013

We hope you, guys, are in high spirits and full of creative energy after the Christmas celebration! Although, all of us are getting ready to meet the New Year, a little bit of planning ahead won’t be excess. Today we will run across the best Drupal events scheduled on winter 2013. So, if you reckon among the Drupal enthusiasts, make a note in your datebook not to miss all the fun.

As you might know, Drupal CMS appeared in 1999 owing to Dries Buytaert, which developed it as a message board. Later on, more people became interested in using and contributing to the project and it was made open source. Drupal.org was presented online in 2001. In 2005 several code sprints and conferences gave a powerful start to Drupal community. The word Drupal itself, derives from the English pronunciation of the Dutch word “druppel,” which means “drop.” The name of the software has greatly influenced its logo. Kristjan Jansen (Kika) suggested the idea of putting two sideways drops together to form an infinity symbol. It resembled a face inside a filled circle. After some improvements by Steven Wittens, a stylized drop with “infinity” eyes, round nose and mischievous smile was created.

Let’s make a brief digression before proceeding with the top winter 2013 Drupal events, as TemplateMonster’s team has great news for online merchants! The date of brand-new Drupal Commerce Themes release is getting closer! The templates are fully responsive, built on the Drupal 7 core, which makes your eCommercial project much more feature-rich!
