Based on Open Framework

Today's free website template is powered by Open framework. This is a precision-built Drupal base theme with Twitter Bootstrap power. All features of the Open framework were borrowed from Bootstrap, ensuring full responsiveness and awesome functionality.

The current version of Open Framework works on Bootstrap 2.3, yet its developers are planning to switch to Bootstrap 3 in the nearest future. For more details, refer to the Github. When talking about compatibilities, the Open Framework works only with the last (7th version) of Drupal CMS and it won't be compatible with the previous ones.

Also, if you don't know what links Stanford and Open framework, read further. There is so-called Stanford framework theme that is a sub-theme of Open framework. This Stanford's theme features the Drupal power and Stanford branding identity.

Stanford Identity

Have you ever seen the family of Stanford themes (for Drupal 7)? There are 5 of them, and the idea of our goodie is to continue this list.

Our new freebie is Stanford branded, meaning that Stanford Identity Toolkit (colors, fonts) was used in its design. This template is made in vibrant colors to maintain the elegance associated with Stanford.

This is our first theme based on Open framework and we hope that this undertaking will turn out to be successful. Our team enjoyed working with it and we’re considering a possibility to start using Open framework to develop our Drupal themes.
