We are glad to announce that from now on Template Monster has added Google Checkout to other payment options and alternatives. The reason for that is simple – the demand. A great piece of our target audience uses Google Checkout and therefore we could not leave them behind. Besides we have received a lot of customers’ requests considering integrating this payment option. So now this option is available along with all the rest at Template Monster product purchase checkout pages.
Google Checkout is an online payment processing service provided by Google Inc. Its aim is just as of any other payment system – to simplify the process of paying for online purchases. Users store their payment details (credit or debit card and shipping information) in their Google Account. Google Checkout also offers a unified page for tracking purchases and their status as well as the fraud protection algorithms.
Congratulations, people! It’s another holiday from Template Monster – just something that you have already got used to. Except for this time it’s really big – now it’s about our sixth birthday! And big holiday means big presents, right? We will return to the presents a little bit later in this post though. Now let us get sentimental for a minute and recall the major thing that we’ve been through during those years.
It’s been almost 20,000 templates, thousands and thousands of customers and hundreds of promotional collaborations during these 6 years. Hard to believe that we’ve made it here but it’s a fact – we’re the best. But it’s not only about our efforts as your loyalty has also played a role in our overall success. And for that we thank you very much.
There are also tons of good things that we’ve done during this time. For example our social responsibility programs (“Changing the Web†and “Enhancing the Future Webâ€) as well as launching an educational websites network that helps you in graphic design, HTML coding, PHP programming and Flash editing (refer to Webdesign.org to find all of our network’s websites).
And here we are now – a year older but nevertheless fresh and stronger than ever. To prove that we have redesigned our own website, now it is optimized for a wider screen resolution and is much more convenient to use (not to mention the fact that we can place a lot more useful information for you on this increased space). During the last two weeks we have held a survey for customers to have purchased one of our Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries. From this post we will proudly share its positive results with you.
The thing is that before holding this survey we have launched a second release of the Dynamic Flash photo Galleries which gave us the right to know what the customers’ opinion about the first version was.
It appeared to be that our customers are pretty happy about the first version of Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries and the first release’s features were enough for most of the audience. Additionally 76% of the respondents are going to recommend this product to their friends and colleagues. You’re going to love this, people, as almost a year after the first version of revolutionary Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries have been launched we are now starting a new technology of producing them that will result in an improved and enhanced interface.
But first thing’s first. All of the major updates and improvements are about frontend section, admin section and encodings. In particular the frontend section updates include XML support, navigation buttons in the gallery (“Previous photo” and “Next Photo” buttons). Also frontend improvements enable you to create as many categories as necessary.
In the admin section you no longer have to use “htaccess” as there is a “login” feature integrated now. Besides that there’s an errors handler added as well as the image editing tools (Crop, Flip, Rotate and Resize). And with the new “Fonts loader†component all of the characters and fonts encodings will be supported.
