Congratulations, Flash fans and everyone who just loves spectacular design and functionality solutions! This is indeed something to congratulate you on as now we’re stepping into the new era of Flash.

This new era starts with our launching the new generation of Flash templates - based on ActionScript3 and made with the PaperVision 3D engine. Looks tremendously impressive, without a doubt - take a look at the first one.

Besides the fact that it looks very impressive due to the 3D interface the ActionScript3 also provides a set of additional functional features. For example you may add as many subpages to your Flash site as you wish - this is impossible with all the previous Flash templates. You may interlink all of these subpages with each other by using the events (pressing the button, text link, image etc.) without having to use Flash IDE - you can do that simply using XML file. The other nice thing about these templates is that all of the sounds there are stored as .mp3 files - very convenient, I’m sure you understand that.

Today it is only the first template made with ActionScript3 and PaperVision 3D in our collection. But you know us - soon there will be tons of these available at TemplateMonster. It’s only a matter of time.

Today is the 10th of July which means that our 4th of July Lottery is now over. That’s the bad news. The good news is that because the lottery is over we can now announce the lucky winners of our top prizes.

For those who don’t remember the top prizes were:

The Independence Day is coming up real soon and it’s about time to start celebrating. This year’s celebrations at Template Monster are as diverse as they have never been before! They contain a whole lot of three separate promos, each of them will be great to celebrate. Besides no one said you have to choose only one of them - you are absolutely free to take advantage of them all.

First and foremost is the 4th of July lottery. In it we decided to play around the 2008 Presidential elections which made this lottery a pretty much amusing event. At the lottery page you can see the “Official TemplateMonster Ballot” with two candidates (they are both patriotic website designs) and instructions on how to vote for them. You choose your candidate, fill in your name and email (they will be used to deliver the free Patriotic Iconset which is given to every single participant of the holiday lottery) and then press the “Vote” button. The design that eventually gets most votes becomes a winner. Among the ones who voted for the winning design we will later choose the winners that will get the main prizes.
By the way the main prizes are:

As you all have noticed we keep redesigning and refreshing everything. On May 27th we have launched a new design of Template Monster website which was dedicated to our 6th birthday (by the way the Birthday Discount will still be active for several days more until the holiday special expires). Anyways now it’s time to improve our dear official blog’s design. The design that you see right now is also optimized for a greater screen resolution and has an improved functionality for your convenience (like categories list and several RSS features added).

In addition to that we have also launched MyTemplateStorageBlog.com - a blog for MyTemplateStorage.com, this will be an official blog for TemplateMonster’s Affiliate Program. Be sure to check it now and keep visiting it in future to be aware of all the latest news of the Affiliate Program.

We are glad to announce that from now on Template Monster has added Google Checkout to other payment options and alternatives. The reason for that is simple - the demand. A great piece of our target audience uses Google Checkout and therefore we could not leave them behind. Besides we have received a lot of customers’ requests considering integrating this payment option. So now this option is available along with all the rest at Template Monster product purchase checkout pages.

Google Checkout is an online payment processing service provided by Google Inc. Its aim is just as of any other payment system - to simplify the process of paying for online purchases. Users store their payment details (credit or debit card and shipping information) in their Google Account. Google Checkout also offers a unified page for tracking purchases and their status as well as the fraud protection algorithms.
