Let’s Bring Some Good Things to the Internet Together!

September 10th, 2007 in News, Sponsorship

They say that there can never be too much of something good. Indeed, after having launched the “Changing the Web” global social responsibility campaign we decided that launching another similar project would also be a good idea. That’s when we came across the KillerStartUps.com project. When we saw what KillerStartUps was doing we decided to launch another campaign proudly entitled “Enhancing the Future Web.”

The idea was to cooperate with the KillerStartUps project in the following ways: they choose a “Killer of the Week” winner; Template Monster in turn offers one of the four winners of each month a free redesign opportunity. We then proceed just as we have in “Changing the Web” – providing premium design for the rookies. We can’t wait to see the happy faces of these promising newcomers when they see what we’ll do for their designs.

Another Educational Project from TemplateMonster.com

August 7th, 2007 in News

Today the educational section of TemplateMonster grew with a brand new project called PSPTutorials.org. This website is meant to be the most complete and comprehensive source for Paint Shop Pro tutorials. Another important aspect this project is that TM is providing these tutorials absolutely free - just like all of our other educational websites.

PSPTutorials.org is the place to help you master all of the techniques of Paint Shop Pro - both in a bitmap graphics editor and a vector graphics editor. The tutorials there are all divided into 10 categories to make using the collection as easy as possible. Those categories are: Special Effects, Text Effects, Photo Correction/Retouch, Web Layouts/Interfaces, Textures/Patterns, Tools & Basics, Graphic Design/Drawing, Animation, Vector Graphics and Video Tutorials.

And since PSPTutorials.org is an open community project we welcome anyone who is experienced with Paint Shop Pro to join-in and submit their own tutorials.

Web 2.0 Templates from TemplateMonster

July 17th, 2007 in News, Web 2.0

In addition to its many existing product categories TemplateMonster has launched a new category of Web 2.0 Templates. The internet today is constantly buzzing about Web 2.0 Templates. Why not? It is a proven fact that Web 2.0 actually WILL make the Internet a better and a more comfortable place for everyone.

So, what is it all about? Web 2.0 is a new concept and approach towards web design. Its main objective is making a website more usable, and to make any particular content easier to read and weigh in importance. This all is done with the help of sectioning the elements - like putting the more important elements into the more visible places, or by making the texts bigger. Web 2.0 also makes it easier to navigate websites by using intuitive navigation bars and icons which helps to attract visitors’ to navigation and make it a pleasure to use. Not to mention the graphics – excellent color schemes, rich surfaces and interesting reflections.

Here are some examples of our Web 2.0 family:

Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries Customer Survey

July 13th, 2007 in Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries

Recently we conducted a special survey on our Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries. It appears that some of our customers have faced various problems with these products. Every pioneer knows there will be problems along the way in any new endeavor.

We are very happy to say that we have solved most of these problems to date that have been mentioned by our customers - with the help of our support and design departments staff. On this post we must also offer our gratitude to each and every one of the many customers who have helped us with the troubleshooting and in the survey.

In the survey we asked our customers about their reactions to our new product. Most of the responses were about the ease of customization and the very comfortable admin panel. We are very happy that our efforts in developing the Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries have found some real fans!

We also ask you to see some of the websites that have been built upon our new Dynamic Flash Photo Galleries:

FlowersOfOneGarden.com is based upon Template #15022
Transitoire.com is based upon Template #14310
